Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Parivar platform (parivar.com.au and app.parivar.com.au), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

Parivar Care Network is a healthcare coordination and facilitation service. We connect families in Australia with licensed healthcare professionals in Nepal who provide in-home care for elderly patients. Parivar does not directly employ nurses or doctors — we facilitate and coordinate the engagement between families and independent healthcare professionals.

Families / Consumers

• Must provide accurate and complete patient information
• Are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials
• Must communicate through approved Parivar channels only
• Must not share platform access with unauthorised persons

Nurses / Healthcare Professionals

• Must hold valid registration and qualifications as required by the Nepal Nursing Council or relevant regulatory body
• Must comply with the Nurse Privacy, Confidentiality and Data Protection Agreement signed at onboarding
• Must access patient data strictly on a need-to-know basis for assigned duties only
• Must use only authorized communication channels designated by Parivar
• Must report any data breach or security incident within 24 hours to [email protected]
• Must not retain patient data beyond what is necessary for assigned duties
• Must not solicit or accept direct private engagement from any patient or family introduced through Parivar for a period of 12 months following termination

All users agree to maintain strict confidentiality of all patient, family, and business information accessed through the Parivar platform. Confidential Information includes patient identity, medical history, care plans, health vitals, family and caregiver information, platform data, and operational information of Parivar.

Confidential Information must not be:

• Disclosed to unauthorized individuals
• Shared via personal messaging apps or social media
• Used for personal benefit, external communication, or research

Your use of the Parivar platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the platform you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in that policy.

All systems, applications, patient databases, care protocols, reports, and records created through the Parivar platform remain the property of Parivar Care Network. Users must not:

• Attempt unauthorized access to any part of the platform
• Copy, reverse engineer, or reproduce any part of the platform
• Share login credentials with any other person

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a payment through the platform you agree to Stripe's terms of service. Parivar does not store credit card or banking details on its servers beyond what is required to process payments.

Parivar facilitates connections between families and healthcare professionals. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Parivar is not liable for:

• The clinical conduct or quality of care provided by healthcare professionals
• Any loss, injury, or damage arising from the use of the platform
• Interruption or unavailability of the platform

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Parivar Care Network against any claims, losses, damages, or legal actions arising from:

• Your breach of these Terms
• Negligence in handling patient or platform data
• Unauthorized disclosure of Confidential Information

Parivar reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account immediately and without notice for:

• Breach of these Terms of Service
• Breach of the Nurse Privacy, Confidentiality and Data Protection Agreement
• Clinical misconduct or patient complaints
• Any action that damages Parivar's reputation or the safety of patients

These Terms of Service shall be governed by the laws of Nepal for matters relating to healthcare services delivered in Nepal, and the laws of Australia for matters relating to Australian operations and users.

Any dispute arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the relevant courts based on the nature of the dispute.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the platform following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
